Everything you need to know about booking a shoot, what to expect, how your media is delivered, and how you're licensed to use it.
Use the Book a Shoot button on any service page, or email us directly at craig@craigmac.tv. Include the property address, your preferred date and time, the package you're interested in, and the approximate square footage or acreage. We'll confirm availability and send you a booking confirmation within a few hours.
For Lots & Land bookings, you'll also need to submit a plat map, county parcel map, or appraisal district screenshot at the time of booking so we can verify boundaries before the shoot.
We recommend booking at least 48–72 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot. Same-week availability is often possible, especially midweek. Same-day rush shoots are available for a +$75 surcharge depending on schedule availability — contact us directly to check.
We're based in Helotes, TX and serve the greater San Antonio metro, Hill Country, and surrounding areas at no travel surcharge within 45 minutes of Helotes. This covers San Antonio, Boerne, Bulverde, Fair Oaks Ranch, New Braunfels, Schertz, and more.
Properties 46–75 minutes away (Fredericksburg corridor, Kerrville, Kyle, Seguin) carry a +$75 travel surcharge. Properties 76–120 minutes away (Austin metro, Marble Falls, Llano, Uvalde) carry a +$150 surcharge. Beyond 2 hours is custom-quoted — contact us for availability.
For interior-focused shoots, light rain or overcast skies don't affect quality — we shoot indoors and use blue sky replacement in post-production at no extra charge on all packages.
For drone shoots, we require safe flying conditions and will reschedule drone portions if winds exceed safe limits or if there's active precipitation. We'll communicate the morning of if any portion needs to be rescheduled, and drone rescheduling is always at no charge to you.

The single biggest thing you can do to improve your photos is declutter every surface before we arrive — countertops, tables, nightstands, bathroom vanities. Here's a quick checklist:
We offer AI de-clutter and occupied-to-vacant editing as add-ons if the property isn't able to be fully prepped before the shoot.
You don't need to be there, but someone needs to provide access. That can be the listing agent, seller, or a lockbox code. If you're adding agent headshots or an agent branding video, you'll obviously need to be on-site for those portions.
We'll reach out the morning of the shoot to confirm access details and any last-minute notes about the property.
We'll give you a more precise estimate when you book based on the specific property and package.
Drone photography is included in Residential Premier, Acreage Signature and Premier, STR Full Content, and all Lots & Land packages. For other tiers, drone photos and video are available as add-ons.
All drone operations are conducted by FAA Part 107 certified pilots. We check airspace restrictions before every shoot — if a property is in controlled airspace, we'll notify you in advance and obtain the necessary authorizations or discuss alternatives.
All media is delivered via a private download link sent to your email. Photos are guaranteed within 24 hours — most land same evening or by 9am the next morning. Full media packages that include video or drone footage are delivered within 48 hours. Rush same-day delivery for photos is available for +$75.
Files are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs optimized for both MLS upload and print. Video files are delivered as MP4. Zillow 3D tours are uploaded directly to your Zillow account or delivered as a shareable link.
Extra photos beyond the package count are available as an add-on ($15/photo for STR, included in the base edit for Residential/Acreage).
Yes. If any delivered photo doesn't meet your expectations or misses a key area of the property, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we'll either replace it in post-production or schedule a complimentary reshoot of the specific area in question. We want every agent to be proud of the media we deliver.
Your download link is active for 90 days after delivery. We strongly recommend downloading and saving all files to your own storage immediately upon delivery. After 90 days, files may be archived and re-delivery may incur a small administrative fee.

Classic video walkthrough (included in Signature) — a clean, room-by-room walkthrough video optimized for MLS and property websites. Steady movement, natural pacing, delivered as a shareable MP4. Ideal for agents who want a professional video without the premium production look.
Cinematic video walkthrough (included in Premier) — elevated production with deliberate camera moves, thoughtful composition, and edited with music and color grading for a luxury feel. Designed for agents marketing higher-end properties and for use in listing presentations.
Zillow Showcase is a premium listing format on Zillow that features an interactive floor plan, room-by-room photo organization, and immersive scrolling — resulting in significantly higher buyer engagement compared to standard listings.
Zillow Showcase Ready means your media package is formatted and structured to qualify for Showcase display when uploaded to Zillow. You'll need a Zillow Premier Agent account to activate Showcase on your listing. If you're unsure whether you have access, your brokerage or Zillow account rep can confirm. We handle all the media side — you just upload.
AI de-clutter ($9/image) — selectively removes specific objects: a pile of mail on the counter, personal items on a shelf, a cord on the floor, trash cans. The room's furniture and character remain intact. Best when the space is mostly ready but has a few distracting items.
Occupied-to-vacant ($29/room) — digitally removes all furniture and personal belongings from the entire room, delivering a completely empty space. Best when sellers can't or won't stage, or when you want a blank canvas for virtual staging. These two services work together well — vacant the room first, then virtually stage it.
Lots & Land shoots require one additional step before we can confirm your booking: you must submit a plat map, county appraisal district parcel map, or survey showing the property boundaries. A screenshot is fine — it doesn't need to be a formal document.
Once we have the boundary reference, we verify it against county GIS records, plan the drone flight path to cover all corners of the parcel, and apply the boundary overlay in post-production. Without a boundary reference we cannot guarantee accurate overlay placement.
No. Your license is non-transferable — it covers your use of the images for marketing the specific property during the active listing period. Another agent cannot legally use photos you commissioned without obtaining a separate license from CraigMac Visuals.
If a property is relisted by a different agent and they want to use the existing photos, they should contact us to arrange a license transfer or new license, which we can typically accommodate for a modest fee. This protects both you and the quality standards associated with the photography.
Payment is due upon delivery of your media files. We accept credit/debit cards, Venmo, Zelle, and check. Invoices are sent with your delivery link and are due within 7 days. For larger projects ($500+), a 50% deposit may be requested at booking.
The short version: When you hire CraigMac Visuals, you're purchasing a license to use the media — not ownership of the copyright. You can use your photos and videos freely to market your listing across MLS, social media, print, and digital platforms for as long as the listing is active. CraigMac Visuals retains copyright of all delivered media.
This is standard practice across the real estate photography industry and protects both parties. It means your media can't be taken and used by others without your knowledge, and it means we can protect the quality and context in which our work appears.
CraigMac Visuals retains full copyright and intellectual property ownership of all photographs, videos, floor plans, and other media created during your shoot. This is automatic under U.S. copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 102) from the moment of creation.
What you receive upon payment is a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the media for the purposes outlined below. This license does not transfer copyright — it grants you defined usage rights while CraigMac Visuals retains ownership.
Your license covers the following uses for the specific property listed, for the duration of the active listing agreement:
Your license remains valid as long as the property is actively listed or under contract. Once the listing agreement terminates or expires — whether the property sold, was withdrawn, or expired — your license to use the images for ongoing marketing purposes ends.
STR media operates under a different model since there is no listing expiration date. Your STR license is a perpetual license tied to the property — you may use the media for as long as you are marketing that specific rental property.
If you sell the property or transfer property management, the new owner or manager should contact us to arrange a license transfer. The media stays with the property — not with a specific person or company.
CraigMac Visuals retains the right to use any media produced under our service agreements for our own marketing purposes — including our website portfolio, social media channels, advertising, and professional development materials.
We will not use media in any way that identifies a specific address, discloses confidential listing details, or compromises the privacy of property owners or occupants. Images used in our portfolio are presented as examples of our photographic work only.
If you or your client prefer that specific images not be used in our portfolio, please let us know in writing before or at the time of the shoot and we will honor that request.
If you require full copyright ownership of your media — for example, for a builder's permanent marketing library or a developer's long-term brand assets — a full copyright transfer can be arranged. This is priced separately from standard packages and typically involves a 2–3x multiplier on the base package price, reflecting the permanent nature of the transfer.
